Artist Statement: Dean Simpson and Francisco Munoz, residents of Victoria BC are glass artists who create unique and contemporary pieces of art using stained glass in innovative ways. They strive to create a "painted with glass" effect, combining detail with flow.

Biography: Dean Simpson has been involved in many artistic endeavours, having landed on creating works of art from glass. Being part of an art duo has allowed her to explore larger projects and different applications of glass work. Dean was born and has lived in beautiful BC all her life, residing now in Victoria. Francisco Munoz has always loved creating art and building things. Glass mosaic work beautifully ties both of these interests together for him, and having an art partner makes the process even more enjoyable. Born in Chile, Francisco has made Victoria his home for the last 30 years.
