Artist Statement: As a figurative oil painter I strive to capture moments in time. I’m inspired by my surroundings whether it is here in the Okanagan or a distant corner of the world. People and the places where they work & play are my inspiration to create art. I watch for body language and gestures that will capture my imagination to tell a story with my paintings and inviting the viewer to spin their own story.
