Artist Statement: As a multi media artist, I use my surroundings to create a narrative in my work. Often triangulating between British Columbia, Mexico, and Northern Ontario, I not only observe but embrace the diverse cultures of these intimate places and strive to incorporate their uniqueness into my work.
I often use found organic elements; antler, bone, feathers and wood, and with reverence weave them together with steel and copper into a shared spirit of connection.
Biography: I was born in Northern Ontario, but now reside on Gabriola Island British Columbia. I also live part time in Mexico. I have been exhibiting for more than three decades in both solo and juried joint exhibitions. My work is held in both private and corporate collections across Canada.
