Artist Statement: I love to create art for everyone to enjoy that brings a smile to peoples' faces and a little light to the world. My primary mediums are currently alcohol-based markers, ink, and digital, which allow me to work with bright colours and bold linework. Comics and cartoony renditions, especially of cats and other animals, are my specialty, along with positive and hopeful messages. Since moving to Penticton I've thoroughly enjoyed observing our local wildlife, and creatures such as quails and osprey have often made their way into my latest work.
Biography: Originally from Vancouver, Lindsay Peltz now lives in Penticton, BC with her husband, two sons, two guinea pigs, and one cat. When not drawing she enjoys walking, doing jigsaw puzzles, reading, and drumming, and during non-pandemic times she loves discovering new cafes and returning to Vancouver to visit.
