Artist Statement: Lucy's style is impressionistic, with lively uses of light, colour and brushstroke. She generally uses oil paint in her Studio, but always uses oil when painting out doors. She usually paints the everyday subjects and scenes which make British Columbia such and incredible place to live, and outdoor activities allow access to scenery from the coast to the mountains.
Biography: Lucy has lived on the North Shore of Vancouver since 1978. She grew up in South Africa and moved with her husband to Canada when they were in their 20's. Lucy is a signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists (AFCA), and a Life Member of the North Shore Artists Guild.
