Artist Statement: I’m working on a vocabulary of perception, fusing past and present. I express myself by series, exhausting an emotion with oil, pastel or found objects. Guiding my ideas and feelings through each medium is my primary goal. I’m inspired by the feminine, memory and nature.
Biography: Marcel Berge is a French-born, Canadian multi-media artist living and working in the Similkameen Valley, B.C. His work has been featured in solo exhibitions in France and Canada.
