Artist Statement: My practice uses sound to consider the natural environment and our relationship to it through field recordings, augmented natural sounds, and narrative. My interest in how we interpret our surroundings through sound also considers how we explore our anxieties and coping strategies through the use or removal of sound. Some major themes in my work are: the environment/climate change; mental health and misophonia; performance art and poetry.
