ABOUT THE ARTIST
Born in 1950 in Woodstock, Ontario, Charlene Tatham received her honourary Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from McMaster University in 1973. In 1974, she graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Education. In addition, she has studied at the Banff Centre of Fine Arts.
Her exhibitions have stretched across Canada, from McMaster University, "Young Canadian Artists", Sir Sanford Fleming College, Peterborough (1973), Invitational Show, Queen's University (1974), University of Calgary Art Gallery (1977), "Mountain Visions" BC and Alberta Parks Awareness (1977), "Push Your Luck", Walter Phillips Gallery (1978). She was commissioned in 1973 to paint a mural for Moulton Hall of McMaster University. She is represented in the collections of McMaster University as well as in many private collections in Ontario, Alberta, and British Columbia.
