ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gail Visiteff studied at the University of Alberta under the instruction of H. Wolfarth, and for two years at Banff School of Fine Arts.

Her work in our Permanent Collection was selected for the Show Committee Permanent Collection from the forty-five works featured in the opening show for the 1967-68 season at the Community Arts Centre. It was purchased and donated anonymously by an Art Club member in 1967. This same donor subsequently purchased and donated to the Permanent Collection some works by Barbara Holden, Muriel Ferley, and Audrey Bowen.
